Britain's biggest supermodels Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss have made a spectacular catwalk appearance together to head up a star-studded fashion show.

The two beauties were on hand to lend their expertise at the Fashion for Relief – Haiti show, held on the eve of London Fashion Week.

And while they were strutting their stuff for charity, Kate and 39-year-old Naomi also poignantly paid tribute to their late friend Alexander McQueen, opening Thursday's show wearing mini-dresses from his last collection.

Naomi – organiser of the event – really had put her black book to good use.

She called on a number of her celebrity pals to take part in the fundraiser including Girls Aloud stars Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh, Geri Halliwell, Dame Shirley Bassey and even her own mum, Valerie.

Former Spice Girl Geri floated down the runway in a pink ruffled number before joining the other stars wearing Vivienne Westwood-designed charity T-shirts at the show, which also featured Erin O'Connor and Amanda Holden.

Another lady making an impression on the night was pregnant TV presenter Denise Van Outen, who received a big cheer when she showcased a flowing Grecian-style gown.

Pop star Jamelia took a little extra support with her when she stepped out for her turn; she was escorted by her two gorgeous girls, Tiani and Teja.

And philanthropic prime minister's wife Sarah Brown also did her bit at the event, taking to the stage to talk about the White Ribbon Alliance – the deserving recipient of the night's proceeds, of which Sarah is patron and her friend Naomi a global ambassador.

Of course it wasn't just the ladies doing their bit.

Soon-to-be-married David Walliams and James Corden got the loudest cheer on the night when they hammed it up on the catwalk and later locked lips, and Alexandra Burke found a handsome escort to dance to Billie Jean with – comedian Ronnie Corbett.
