Paul Costelloe

Born: June 27, 1945, in Dublin

Dublin-born Paul Costelloe opted for fashion as a more lucrative career alternative having seen his elder brother struggle to make a living as a painter and sculptor.

At 23 he was design assistant to Jacques Esterel and since then has worked throughout Europe and America. He created his own label in Ireland in 1979 and has designed for Marks & Spencer and Milan department store La Renescente.

Past collaborations include designing the uniforms of Aer Lingus and British Airways staff.
