Tim Soar

In the Eighties Tim established Post Design with graphics star Neville Brody, and together they worked on museum projects in the UK and mainland Europe. An interest in DJing led to him setting up global music consultancy Music Concrete, which numbers fashion brands like Adidas and Fendi among its clients.

His 2006 venture into fashion with menswear label SOAR was well received, with key pieces from this collection being snapped up by B-Store. Liberty buyers were equally impressed, and bought Tim's next collection, a Rockabilly inspired affair.

"For a year or two I had felt an increasingly strong urge to move into fashion design," explains Tim. "I felt I had something to say about modern menswear... I was tired of seeing gimmicky menswear that was badly made and didn't fit correctly. I set out to produce clothes which are a synthesis of minimalism and the avant garde, yet made to the highest possible standards."
