Jeremy Scott

Often called the Jeff Koons of fashion for his pop culture references, the American has dressed Madonna, Posh, M.I.A, Lady Gaga and Agyness Deyn. Jeremy also created Britney Spears' iconic futuristic airline stewardess outfit for her Toxic video.

His outrageous and high octane designs incorporate unconventional looks, such as one-legged trousers, fast food as inspiration for garments, and icons such as Mickey Mouse.

The fashion provocateur – who describes his signature look as "pop fashion with an upbeat twist" – was once awarded the ultimate compliment by Karl Lagerfeld.

He told the Le Monde newspaper that Jeremy was the only designer who could ever take over from him when he leaves Chanel.
