While they're both relative newcomers to the style scene, actresses Freida Pinto and Emma Watson more than proved their staying power as they hit the British capital's fashion week.
Both radiant in golden-hued gowns, the pair managed to steal the limelight from more established fashionistas, including
Gwyneth Paltrow,
Liv Tyler and
Stella McCartney.
As Burberry's
new poster girl, all eyes were on
Harry Potter star Emma as she arrived for the label's runway presentation.
And the 19-year-old drew praise for her outfit, a stunning metallic Burberry mini-dress and sky-high black heels.
Having jetted in from the US, where she's studying at university, Emma took her place in the front row with Freida – a vision in a layered silk chiffon pastel yellow gown.
The
Slumdog Millionaire beauty was enjoying a date with her co-star Dev Patel – acknowledging their blossoming romance after months of trying to keep it under wraps.
They joined model
Agyness Deyn – showing off her recently-updated raven 'do – US actress Mary Kate Olsen and MTV presenter Alexa Chung in checking out the
Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
The new line was awash with mini-dresses in pastel hues of lavender, mint green and powder blue – staying true to the brand's military origins by being cinched at the waist with belts.
Another highlight was the fashion house's traditional trench-coat – once worn in WWI – transformed into a puffed-sleeve, thigh-skimming number in sugar-pink satin with shimmering crystals.
