Peek-a-boo dressing and body con lycra: the stars pull out all the stops to impress

To make sure they got their share of the limelight as London Fashion Week drew to a close, the fashionistas had donned their most daring looks.

American model Amber Rose stepped out in a skin-tight cut-away dress, teamed with sky-high white platforms, while British beauty Daisy Lowe played peek-a-boo in a see-through crochet top.

Known for her flamboyant style, Paloma Faith also gave the models some competition in the outrageous outfit stakes.

The singer - who told that she loves to frequent "those 'what the hell was she wearing columns?'" - sat front row at Ashish, wearing a checked teacloth maxi dress, studded denim shirt and baby pink furry platforms.

There also plenty of interest provided by the final collections.

Aquascutumn combined trademark clean cuts with a classic British heritage style.

Meanwhile, over at Meadham Kirchhoff the theme was witches coven-meets-school girl innocence, with models in pointed hats and gothic attire.

The highlight of the week was Burberry's celeb-packed show that included the staging of a full-on fake snow storm.
