Rihanna and Kate Moss enjoy Stella McCartney's magic show

Joining the most fabulous party in town attended by the creme de la creme of Britain’s style pack, Rihanna made her fashion week debut in style.

The pop sensation smouldered in an emerald gown as she stepped out in Mayfair for the hotly anticipated Stella McCartney black tie dinner.

The new blonde posed outside for pictures before making her way inside to take a place at the head table, in between Kate Moss and the designer herself.

Supermodel Kate, flanked by husband Jamie Hince, had opted for one of Stella’s optical illusion minidresses, as had Yasmin Le Bon in a full-length version.

And Alexa Chung injected a dose of drama with her black satin, full-length column dress.

The presentation was pure magic – literally.

Alexa bravely volunteered as magician’s assistant, and was levitated above three knifes.

Stella then stepped on stage to perform a card trick with the magician, loudly cheered on by Rihanna.

A flash mob occured when all the models – one was seated at every table – stepped up onto the tables, climbing over the chairs and guests to show off Stella’s designs.
