'I'm tired, not miserable': Victoria responds to critics

Those closest to her know the real Victoria Beckham as a tireless worker, with a warm heart and healthy sense of humour.

And they turned out in droves, wearing her chic, brightly coloured creations, to support her at the launch of her second line 'Victoria' at Harvey Nicols in London.

Still, the support didn't stop the singer-turned designer feeling sensitive about unkind comments over her appearance.

Victoria, who's been flitting between LA, New York and London to promote her fashion business, told the Sunday Mirror  that if she looks exhausted it's because she is.

"Look, if people want to say I'm miserable then so be it," said the über-mum. "I'm really not. I have a lot on my plate."

"I'm not going to lie about it, I'm tired. I'm really tired but I'm also very happy with my life.

"I'm basically just like any woman who's working and has lots of children – it's tough."

 

Victoria also revealed that Harper, seven months, is not yet sleeping through the night and she juggles tending to her with taking business calls on Skype.

"I'm up with the baby as all mums are and I wouldn't have it any other way.

"There's not a team of people doing it for me."
