In an enchanted forest covered with leaves, Alexander McQueen’s little sister line emerged from the shadows to make its debut in style on Monday.
And newcomer McQ certainly pleased its most high profile front row star Salma Hayek.
"The show was truly sensational - really, really amazing - not at all what I was expecting,” she said.

“The clothes were already unforgettable and extraordinary. Sarah Burton set the bar really high - it makes me nervous it is so good. What is she going to do for McQueen now?"
The Hollywood actress was joined by husband Francois-Henri Pinault, who is head of luxury fashion conglomerate PPR.
They shared the front row with fashion heavyweights Samantha Cameron and Anna Wintour.
Reflecting the autumnal backdrop, military-inspired coats in various shades of green featured embroidered leaves in black and gold.
Tulle undercoats made for voluminous silhouettes were complemented by tight-fitting, thigh-high boots.
“This was about a love of McQueen and everything we do,” designer Sarah Burton said backstage.
“It feels great to be here.”
The thunderous applause that followed the fairytale presentation is a sure sign that McQ is here to stay.
