The pair have been dating quietly for most of this year since meeting at private members' club, 5 Hertford Street in Mayfair, London.

James, who has a lower public profile than his sisters Kate and Pippa, seems to be getting used to the celebrity lifestyle with Donna on his arm.

The duo have been seen at a string of fashionable parties recently, always stylishly dressed and in the company of friends such as Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice.

Donna, who has a nine-year-old daughter with millionare Damian Aspinall, recently told the Mail's YOU magazine: "I am very happy where I am at now. All elements of my life feel right.

Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Ellie Goulding

"James is wonderful, and I enjoy our time together very much."

Also at Thursday's do at a swanky London hotel was newly single Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who was on smouldering form. In a sexy jumpsuit with peekaboo cuts and towering gold heels, the model showed no hint of the sadness she may be feeling following her break from Jason Statham.

It helped that she got a warm reception from the fashionable crowd that included singer Ellie Goulding, Roksanda Ilincic and designer Giles Deacon, who was seen giving her a reassuring cuddle.

Rosie, 26, and Jason, 45, have reportedly taken time apart to consider their future following a series of arguments. The beauty has just returned from a sunshine holiday in Ibiza, where she consoled herself with a group of girlfriends.
