Style guru Hilary Alexander's London Fashion Week live blog for HELLO! Fashion

With a front row ticket to all the best shows, style guru and HELLO! Fashion Monthly's editor-at-large Hilary Alexander will be sharing live updates from her time at London Fashion Week - keep checking back for behind-the-scenes gossip, interviews with the hottest designers and plenty of backstage gossip.

Monday 6pm

Wild roaring lions and jungle backing tape for Giles' big cat prints, birds of prey and embroidered beaded serpents snaking down shifts and ballgowns.

Monday 3pm

Daisy Lowe, Pixie Geldorf and Alexa Chung on the front row at Christopher Kane.

Monday 2pm

Erdem: a 'Garden of Earthly and Exotic Delights'. A beautiful jungle foliage setting. We saw lush lace, emerald-and-fern greens, dense embroideries, beautiful white lace and sheer, floral embroidered long tea gowns.

Monday 1pm

I spotted Cara Delevingne and Paloma Faith on the front row at Burberry, as well as Kate Moss. The Burberry show featured some stunning skirts and trainers, including a gorgeous sequinned skirt.

Sunday 5pm

Fantastic Temperley London collection. Bedouin-style layers, loose striped or print robes over wide trousers, three-piece trouser suits in black and white check and stripe, trenchcoats with flowing broderie anglaise or chiffon shirt-tail shirts.

Here's a pic of one of my favourite looks from the show, a flowing shirt-tail with jacket and trousers at Temperley...

Sunday 4pm

Marios Schwab backstage with his first model just minutes before his show starts.

Sunday 3pm

Sophie Ellis-Bextor was on the front row of Richard Nicoll wearing vintage Versace, that was given to her by a friend.

Sunday 1pm

The finale of Matthew Williamson was a garden of tropical ostrich feathers, flowers, fancies, orchid prints and vibrant colour.

Sunday 11am

Mulberry's SS15 collection is inspired by an English country garden and two specific flowers: cornflower and delphinium which are printed, embroidered and beaded.

Clogs echo the garden theme at Mulberry.

Sunday 9am

It's a bare back show at Preen. Stripes, fringing and speed-stripe details.

Saturday 8pm

Georgia May Jagger will open Marchesa's 10th anniversary first-ever London catwalk show at London Fashion Week. Anna Wintour is here in a floral print Carolina Herrera dress.

A Bohemian Rhapsody floral gown finale piece from Marchesa.

Saturday 5pm

Backstage, JW Anderson explains his utility SS15 collection to me as the "idea of a woman" with leather, dense knits, subverted nautical touches and a hint of Picasso.

Saturday 4pm

JW Anderson is awash with nautical references...

Saturday 1pm

How amazing is this knitted glitter bodysuit at Julien Macdonald?

Saturday 12pm

Love this long silver shimmer gown with a long train from Emilia Wickstead - it's fit for a princess! Now I'm off to Julien Macdonald...

Saturday 11am

Lots of painterly inspiration in the Jasper Conran collection...

Friday 1pm

"The perfect white shirt and silver skinny trousers at Daks."

Friday 12am

"Spotted Leah Weller at the Daks show in a gorgeous burgundy leather dress."

Friday 11am

"The denim pieces shown in first French NewGen designer Faustine Steinmetz's collection were extraordinary - stressed, fringed, bleached. woven and dyed."

Friday 10am

"I'm at the LFW Opening Press Breakfast and British Fashion Council chairman Natalie Massenet has revealed that online sales of clothing and textiles in the UK this year is estimated to reach a staggering £10.7billion!"
